Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to rent a limousine?

Airports and seaports usually have a fixed or flat rate price based on your location and the airport or seaport to which you're traveling.  Limousine pricing for custom itineraries, such as proms or weddings, is typically based on an hourly rate with a minimum number of hours.

Do you require a minimum number of hours to rent a limousine?

Yes.  We have a three (3) hour minimum on stretched limousines and four (4) hour minimum on buses, which is one of the lowest in the industry.  Airport and seaport transfers do not require a minimum number of hours.

How far in advance must reservations be made?

Reservations must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. Unfortunately, we do not make same-day reservations.

Is a deposit required?

Yes.  A 25% non-refundable deposit is due at the time the reservation is made.  We accept cash and all major credit cards.

If I need to cancel a reservation, is the deposit refundable?

Unfortunately, the deposit IS NOT REFUNDABLE.  We're confident that VIP Limo Service will meet or exceed your expectations and we encourage you to compare our service before making a reservation.

When does the clock start?

The clock starts when we arrive at the first stop.  We don't charge for drive time to the initial pickup (up to an hour).  Additional charges will apply for pickups that require more than an hour of drive time.

What happens if we go past the reservation drop-off time?

Unlike most limousine services, we offer a grace period of up to 15 minutes past the reservation drop-off time.  Anything past 15 minutes will incur an additional charge.

Do I tip the driver or is gratuity included in the rate?

We do not include gratuity in our rates.  More important, we're one of the only limousine services that does not charge gratuity in advance.  We simply ask that you tip your chauffeur based on the service that you receive.  20% is the industry standard.

Do I tip the driver directly or can I add it to the reservation?

You're welcome to do either, whichever you prefer.

Can I pay for additional charges or tip the chauffeur directly using a credit card?

Our chauffeurs do not accept mobile credit card payment; however, they can take your credit card information and pass it to Reservations for processing.

How much do you charge for additional stops?

There's no charge for additional stops for hourly rentals as long as they're within a reasonable distance between the pickup and drop-off points. Additional stops are not allowed on transfers.

How much do you charge for red carpet service?

There's no charge for VIP red carpet service.  We want all of our customers to feel special.

Do you offer child safety seats?

Yes, we have two (2) child safety seats for children ages one year and older available at no additional charge. Child safety seats are available on a first come, first serve basis for your scheduled reservation date and time.

Why are airport transfers unavailable certain days?

Airport transfers are not available Fridays through Sundays since these are our busiest days of the week and any flight delays on these days can impact our ability to provide the reliable service all of our customers expect. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
