Frequently Asked Questions About Limo & Party Bus Rentals in Southwest Florida

Airports and seaports have fixed or flat rate pricing based on your location and the airport or seaport to which you’re traveling.  Limousine and party bus pricing for custom itineraries, such as proms or weddings, are typically based on an hourly rate with a minimum number of hours.

Yes.  We have a three (3) hour minimum on stretched limousines and four (4) hour minimum on buses, one of the lowest in the industry. (Does not apply to airport and seaport transfers.)

Reservations should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.  Same day reservations are limited and based on availability.

Yes.  A 25% non-refundable deposit is due at the time the reservation is made.  We accept cash, Zelle and all major credit/debit cards.

The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.  We encourage everyone to compare our prices and services, before making a reservation.

The clock starts when we arrive at the first stop, not when we leave the building. (We don’t charge for drive time to the initial pickup up to an hour away).  Additional charges do apply for pickups that require more than an hour of drive time. The clock stops when we drop off the last guest.

We understand sometimes unforeseen delays can prevent a reservation from ending right on time.  Unlike most limo companies, we offer a 15 minute grace period past the reservation drop-off time.  Anything past 15 minutes will incur additional charges, but at the same hourly rate, so you’re not penalized for keeping the vehicle longer.  All additional hourly charges are billed in 30 minute increments.

Gratuity is added to all reservations for reference purposes only.  We include the tip(20% is the industry standard) for those customers who prefer tipping cash without having to calculate the tip.    We’re one of the only limousine companies that does not charge gratuity in advance. 

You’re welcome to do either, whichever you prefer.  All drivers keep 100% of the tip.

Our chauffeurs do not have the capability to accept mobile credit card payments.  Please contact Reservations at (239) 860-5466 for credit card processing or anything payment related.

We do not charge for additional stops on hourly rentals.  Additional charges may apply to transfer rates and are priced accordingly.

Red carpet service(based on request) along with bottled water & ice are included with our service at no additional charge.  

Yes, we have both forward and rear facing child seats at no additional charge. Child safety seats are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Local Airport transfers to and from Southwest Florida Int’l Airport (RSW) & Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) are typically not available Friday through Sunday due to unexpected flight delays.  When possible, we will try to accommodate transfers to the local airports based on vehicle availability. (THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO LONG DISTANCE AIRPORTS OR SEAPORTS)  We apologize for any inconvenience.

All of our vehicles are inspected by an ASE certified mechanic once a year.

Yes, our corporate name is Gulf Shore Limo Service, Inc. (d/b/a VIP Limo Service) which carries $2,000,000 in Commercial General Liability and $1,000,000 in Automobile Liability Combined Single Limit (each accident).  View Certificate of Liability Insurance.
